ANXIETY
What is anxiety?
Anxiety can be all consuming or only felt sometimes.

"This video is for tips and suggestions only. It is not medical advice. If you have a severe anxiety disorder please seek medical help and share with family and friends."
Today we are talking about anxiety in the context of the basic general underlying level of anxiety we all currently feel. A lot of it is to do with the constant bombardment of information. It can cause us to feel completely overwhelmed.
Layered on top of the information overload is the fear of A.I. and the Future. Even experts are uncertain exactly what the Future will look like.
We know that it will be unlike anything we have ever experienced.
We know that society as we know it is undergoing a seismic shift.
We know that whether we want to participate or not - there is no choice.
We know that things are already different and the rate of change is only going to increase.
I am guessing that listening to me or reading my words - your heart rate has slightly increased.
Perhaps we need to go back and redo our breathing exercise?
Today I want to tell you that it is going to be A-OK.
I don't know what 'it' will look like, but it will be OK!
So ...
What can we do to reduce our generalized 'Future Anxiety?'
Stop ...
Pause ...
Breathe ...
Do ONE thing that you can control.
Ask yourself - "What do I need right now?"
Eat, nap, walk, call a friend...
Today, I have included a link to Morra Aaron-Mele's interview with Yale's Emma Seppala. I found it very helpful.
Have a listen to her latest episode.
Emma Seppala says:"Emotions are energy in motion!"
Read that sentence again - think about it - it can be life changing.
It means you are in control!
Listen to their interview - Link above.
Thanks for buying me a coffee - much appreciated :-)
