Not ten minutes ago I messaged a friend of mine who is struggling with suicidal ideation about my morning routine which I said includes “letting my mind wander through wonder without fear or abandon.” It is my favorite pastime and the only activity that has ever managed to quell my anxiety. It also leads to a seemingly endless well of creative inspiration which is fueled by a sort of curiosity fusion reactor inside my consciousness. Thank you for this piece. What a strange little coincidence to find this notification waiting for me after writing that note.

Thank you for sharing your very personal serendipitous moment Ryan 🙏

You gave your friend such good advice. I am sure that you added that she should have professional help.

Having had personal experience with family struggling with suicide ideation and a 'sister by another mother' who died by suicide - I know what a tremendous weight and feeling of responsibility it is.

Talking about mental health and getting professional help saves lives. I will hold your friend and his wife in my heart. May she come to understand that she is loved and needed here on earth. 🙏

A wandering mind is wellness!

I love serendipity.

It's like magic, only real.
