Today, we’re diving into the topic: ‘Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe.’
Last week I posted my new ‘About me” page.
On Thursday we have a treat!

Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe
Have you ever paused to think about the energy you put out into the world? That energy—your vibe—is magnetic. It draws people in, shapes your connections, and helps you build the kind of community you need to thrive.
Today, I’ll share my journey of building a community of nearly 800 Substack Newsletter subscribers.
I will offer practical tips and an empowering exercise to help you cultivate your own tribe.
The Journey to Building a Community
When I first began writing, I couldn’t have imagined this moment.
My journey started in a serendipitous way, and I want to share it to encourage you to keep going, even if things feel uncertain.
One year ago, I stumbled upon a writing class at just the right moment.
I had no idea it would change my life.
That class introduced me to the power of habits: writing daily, engaging with people, and, most importantly, believing in myself.
At first, it felt like taking a blind leap into the “all-in ocean.”
But slowly, with small, consistent steps, the ‘lid of my life’ popped open, and sunshine streamed in.
This wasn’t an overnight transformation.
There were plenty of days I wanted to quit.
My life didn’t magically become perfect, and I still struggle every day.
But something inside me knew: ‘Just keep going’.
Practical Lessons from the Journey
1. Start Small: Minimum Viable Habits (MVH)
On days when life gets overwhelming, I lean into the smallest, simplest habits.
Whether it’s writing for five minutes or engaging with one person, those tiny actions keep me moving forward.
2. Consistency is Key.
Building anything worthwhile—whether it’s a newsletter, a community, or even a book—requires daily effort.
Writing every day, even in small doses, compounds over time.
3. Engage and Iterate.
I’ve learned to set 30/60 or 90 day goals, review what resonates.
I look at the feedback, adjust if needed, and keep iterating.
Growth isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress.
4. Belief and Community.
Surrounding yourself with the right people—mentors, family, friends, and peers who believe in you—can push you further than you ever imagined.
A supportive community is the secret sauce for growth.
5. Compounding Effort.
Over time, these small, consistent actions create a snowball effect.
One day, everything clicks.
Your message becomes clearer, your confidence grows, and you find yourself stepping into a higher gear.
That’s the magic of compounding effort.
The Science of Attraction
Why does “your vibe” matter?
Because what you focus on becomes your future.
This isn’t just philosophy—it’s rooted in neuroscience.
Our brains are wired to seek patterns and amplify the energy we project. If you focus on gratitude, creativity, and connection, you’ll naturally attract people who share those values.
When you align your vibe with your purpose, your ‘tribe’ will find you. These are the people who will cheer you on, challenge you, and grow with you.
Thank you so much. It’s a true pleasure to spend this time with you!

Takeaway Exercise: Cultivating Your Tribe
Here’s an exercise to help you attract your tribe:
1. Define Your Vibe
Take a moment to reflect.
What energy do you want to put into the world?
Is it kindness, creativity, curiosity, resilience?
Write it down.
2. Identify Your Minimum Viable Habit (MVH)
What’s the smallest daily habit you can commit to that aligns with your vibe?
Maybe it’s journaling sharing a thoughtful post online, or engaging with one new person in your community.
Join a Community
Find a group of people who share your goals and values.
It could be an online forum, a writing group, or even a local meetup.
Let their energy inspire you and keep you accountable.
4. Track and Reflect
Set a 30- or 90-day goal and review what’s working.
What actions resonate most with your audience or community?
Adjust as needed, iterate and keep going.
Let us know in the comments what you found useful, any questions you may have and anything else you would like to share.
Should you choose to - scan and buy me a coffee - thank you:-)
